Algeco took part in Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour organization in St. Petersburg, Russia

St. Petersburg, August 2nd, 2009.

The singer's concerts were part of her European Sticky and Sweet tour that began in London on July 4th. Russia's northern capital was the 13th city on the tour list. The city welcomed Madonna by showing the genuine warmth of her fans and the high level of the show's organization. Algeco - a European leader in modular accommodations became one of participants in its organization.

To implement the project, Algeco Russia used 38 trucks, which in their turn were used by Madonna herself and her kids as accommodations for rest, make up and wardrobes as well as for backing vocals and dancers. VIP guests and show providers haven't been left without attention of Algeco. Algeco modules were transported to Dvortsovaya Ploshad St. Petersburg on a "just-in-time" basis as the unpacking in St. Petersburg's main square involved using special technical facilities.

This is Algeco's first experience with solutions for the entertainment industry, however, after its successive implementation worldwide-known singer's concert providers decided to continue their cooperation with Algeco. As a result Algeco Finland, Algeco Czech and Algeco Hungary took part in Madonna's concert organization as well.
