ALGECO modular constructions have successfully been introduced at "The North Stream" project
April the 9th 2010 Algeco - French company, a European leader in modular space solutions have introduced its quickly installed constructions at the ceremony of "The Nord Stream" gas pipeline sea division starting up near Vyborg, Russia. Participation in this event became the pilot project implemented by Algeco for "Gasprom" JSC, and the company lays its account with winning relationships with Russian gas colossus.
For more than 50 years ALGECO is well known for its know-how in lease of premises for any purpose. The company has just entered the Russian market yet it set up its partnership relations with such companies as "Peugeot/Citroen" in Kaluga, "Renault" in Moscow, "Magna International" in Saint-Petersburg. Besides, ALGECO took part in organization of Madonna's concert in Saint-Petersburg, Red Bull motor-show on Red Square, Moscow, as well as Cirque du Soleil’s shows in both the Cities.
April the 1st 2010 Celebration of "North Stream" project start-up took place at the "Portovaya" booster station site, located at the Russian-Finnish boarder, around Vyborg. This will be the point where gas circulation will flow from to European consumers.
To construct a temporary accommodation for entertaining ALGECO provided 12 modules ADVANCE range. They stand out for their strict external view and considerable possibilities in space solutions for any purposes.
All the premises have been mounted in recordly short time - 24 hours. Modules were shipped from Saint-Petersburg warehouse located 220 km far from the point. Mounting terms were not affected even by lack of proper access road.
Mounted floor area of 168 square meters held meeting rooms, press-centers for journalists and security office. As per Customer's preference the interior was designed in light gamma, furnished with white leather pieces of furniture which harmoniously looked on the background of black flooring. In this environment took place the negotiations of distinguished guests arrived to the ceremony with the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev among them, as well as the Head of "The North Stream" project's operating company Gerhard Schroder and the CEO of "Gasprom" company Alexey Miller.
The first experience of taking part in start-up of marine works at "The North Stream" pipeline lay a foundation for the continuation of cooperation between ALGECO and "Gasprom" JSC. That hope is brought by the fact ALGECO currently receives requests from main contractors of "Gasprom" JSC.
